DJ: Creating a Vibe
As a DJ, my approach to creating a vibe is all about reading the crowd and understanding what they want. I start by selecting tracks that I know will get people moving, but I'm always ready to switch things up if I sense that the energy in the room needs a change I will play some live percussions on my set. It's important to me to create a seamless flow between songs, so that the music never stops and the dance floor stays packed.
But it's not just about playing the right songs - it's also about how you mix them together. I like to experiment with different techniques, like beatmatching and looping, to create unique transitions that keep the audience engaged. And of course, I always keep an eye on the tempo and energy level of the music, making adjustments as needed to keep the vibe going strong.
